These handles have a variety of uses with exercise equipment. From gym machines to resistance band training, they serve multiple purposes. I use them primarily for resistance band training. Resistance band handles come in a variety of sizes. Approximately 6 inches in length, these range at the shorter end of the spectrum. Handle length is a key factor when training with resistance bands since the handle’s webbing and D-ring affect the band’s total stretch. For me, the longer the webbing, the less stretch on the band, which limits the impact of the resistance. I prefer to have more resistance throughout the movement which these shorter handles provide. The grip section of the handle is about 5 inches across which makes a comfortable fit in most hands. An ABS plastic core under the foam handle cover adds to the solid structure. The handle’s overall diameter fits my hand well which allows firm control throughout the exercises. Thick nylon webbing is one of the best features on this handle. It has a durable texture which should hold up under most uses, but I check the handles’ webbing and stitching for tears or breaks prior to starting my exercise routine. If any handle is damaged, I will not use it. I tested these handles with 70 LB resistance bands, and they performed well. I consider this light to moderate usage. I do not use these types of handles with gym machines, so I don’t know about performance under those circumstances with heavier weights. For my purposes, these handles are effective, and the size is a perfect fit for my usage.
