An Iron Supplement Kids will Ask For!
We’ve been giving these iron + multivitamin drops to my toddler for years. He was diagnosed with low iron when he was a baby and these drops have helped bring his iron levels close to normal range. We started with the iron only version from this brand and then graduated to the multi-vitamin version when his levels were starting to normalize.If you’ve ever tasted iron supplements, you know it can taste like blood. These drops do their best to mask that taste with a berry flavor and my son actually asks me for his “num nums” each morning. He hasn’t had any side effects from taking this iron supplement either. I’d definitely recommend this brand if you need a daily iron supplement for your little one!One note of caution, the bottle dropper may leak a little. We don’t travel with it and are sure to clean up spills or liquid that gets on our skin. It will stain.

Best investment for your little one
My 11 month old loves this stuff. We were prescribe multivitamin with iron from the NICU they used to mix in his tube feeding when he was newborn. After he got older he quit bottle feeding and mainly was breastfeeding but he wouldn’t take it anymore the vitamins . After awhile he started to get anemic a few months ago due to not wanting to eat baby food and I was desperate to find something for my premature son to help his development he had stomach issues due to surgeries and hypotonia. After using this in June for a few months I noticed a huge difference in his mood, energy, eating habits, and bathroom habits. His blood work is doing better and he’s overall so much happier and eating like a champ now. He loves the taste and easy to give I did use a different syringe for giving the vitamin it was just easier for us. I feel like it’s better quality than anything I have tried so far and a good buy. I will keep using for my son I’m glad to have found something that works for him.

Toddler loves the taste
My 2 year old takes this vitamin easily. I’ve tried other brands and its been a fight getting her to take it. But this she takes with no problem and I have a very pick 2 year old. I’ve been giving this to her for a few months now and haven’t had any problems. I definitely recommend if you rather not fight your toddler to take vitamins lol.

Terrible dropper, great product
My toddler takes this easily. It smells like flintstone vitamins.My only problem is the dropper. It’s terrible. It takes me forever to get the right dosing and iron comes out around the bottle of the squeeze part. Would be 10/10 with a syringe.As far as people saying it stains teeth…. You should be brushing after. I do it at night before brushing.

Definitely helpful with picky toddler
I think I found one my PICKY toddler will take. It’s only 1ml so that’s not a lot and it has all the vitamins picky children lack. Fingers crossed this will increase his iron level bc it’s been boarder line low. I’ll update if it helped at the check up. Taste I’m assuming isn’t bad due to my child took it with no fighting.I didn’t use syringe provided. I used a washable one that is a little wider and holds liquid in better. But has same amount

Taste buds are not all the same.
Product is great. However 4 yo does not like the taste and won’t use it. Product is not refundable for that reason and I paid $35 for it. Be careful.

Constipated my twins
I decided to give these a try because when my babies came home from the NICU, they were prescribed the enfamil poly-vi-sol multivitamin with iron. It smells and tastes horrible. It was a struggle to get them to drink the entire bottle if I put it in their milk. So I said ok, let’s try something new which led me to these.I tried it and was like ok it tastes better. And they took their bottles no problem. For me this was an absolute WIN. The twins would drink the entire bottle and not fuss. However, my babies are breastfed and normally poop everyday, the maximum time between poops might be 2 days but usually everyday. When they took these, they would literally go 7 days without pooping to the point where we had to use a suppository to get them to poop! And then it would come out much thicker and much MORE than their normal poops… as if their intestines were backed up.I’ll admit that one of my twins might go 2 days in between poops but the other twin would poop at least once a day, most times 2-3 times a day. So to go this long without pooping was concerning. By time they got to the 7th day, they were cranky and gassy.This made me look at the difference between this multivitamin and the enfamil one. Well apparently the type of iron they use in this multivitamin is associated with more episodes of constipation. And that was the case for my twins. I took them off this vitamin and after 3/4 days, they both pooped without a suppository. I then put them back on the poly-vi-sol, and they pooped like normal.So while I wanted to love this vitamin, I can’t. The constipation it caused is not worth it. The tastes was definitely better than the enfamil one though. I wish it didn’t lead to constipation or else we would still be using these.

I bought this product in end October and the expiry was Jan 2024. This is way too short an expiry date for a bottle with 120 servings and I’ll probably have to bin it even before baby finishes using this product. Not impressed with this.

I rarely review stuff I bought on Amazon but for Yum iron with added vitamins I would give 10 stars. It really made a huge difference in my children, especially my youngest daughter (she is 4 yrs old). She used to hate going to school, feel grumpy all the time, cry and throw tantrums for the tiniest things, scream and shout nonstop.I used this for a few days and her mood completely changed. She would go to school more happy, even her teachers were amazed by the difference. The tantrums, screaming and crying are almost to a zero now. So amazing.I tried other iron supplements before but this one is by far the best in all aspects: the taste, the effectiveness, and quality.I really recommend this to anyone. It truly is amazing.
