Great Moisturizer with One Small Caveat
Neutrogena Hydro Boost is an amazing moisturizer. It hydrates my skin perfectly, absorbs quickly, and leaves my face feeling smooth and plump without being greasy. My skin looks and feels great when I use it.The only downside for me is that it tends to burn my eyes, but I have very sensitive eyes, so that may not be an issue for everyone. To fix that, I started using the Hydro Boost eye gel instead, which is much more gentle and works really well. Overall, I still love this moisturizer and would absolutely recommend it for the face, just be cautious around the eye area if you’re sensitive.

It offers great protection while still feeling lightweight and smooth on the skin—no white cast, no clogged pores. I love how it layers well under makeup, too.Overall, I’ve had very positive results. My skin feels more refreshed and looks healthier, especially during the drier months. It’s gentle enough for daily use and hasn’t caused any irritation over the years.Would I recommend it? It roves the dead skin very well and gives your skin a glow. This version is also an effective sunscreen. Great for daytime use.

Disappointing Texture and Poor Wear Under SPF
I had high expectations for this moisturizer, given the Hydro Boost line’s reputation, but it fell short for me. The texture feels heavier and slightly greasy, and it does not absorb well into the skin. With SPF 50, I expected a smoother, more wearable finish, but it left a noticeable shine and pilled when layered under makeup, making it impractical for daily use. Although it is fragrance-free, it irritated my skin and caused breakouts after a few uses. The trial-size cleanser did nothing to offset the experience. Overall, this did not deliver the lightweight hydration or comfort I was expecting, especially at this price point.
