How?How?

How to Use a Finger Pulse Oximeter Scientifically and Correctly

(1) Finger Preparation Before Measurement: Ensure your fingers are warm. If your fingers are cold, rub them together to warm them or soak them in warm water and then wipe them dry. Cold extremities result in poor circulation, which may lead to low readings, inability to detect the pulse, or slow response.

Remove Obstacles: Thoroughly remove nail polish (especially dark colors such as black, blue, and purple), gel nails, and artificial nail tips. These can block light, leading to significantly low or inaccurate readings.

(2) Before Measurement: Ensure the battery is fully charged and that your body and mind are calm. Place your hand on a table or knee, keeping it roughly at heart level. Completely relax your arm and hand muscles. During the measurement, do not move your body, talk, or shake your arm or fingers.

Do not use a finger pulse oximeter during exercise, as the readings will be unstable. Allow 10-20 minutes to recover before measuring.

Why?Why?

Finger Pulse Oximeter Measurement Results

When measuring, correctly clip the finger pulse oximeter onto your finger with your palm facing down. Insert the device like a clip, starting from the fingertip, with the nail side facing up, aligning it with the light source (red LED) inside the device. Your fingertip should gently press against the inner top of the oximeter, with the pad of your finger just covering the receiving sensor below.

Observe the screen. The values (especially the pulse) will fluctuate several times. Wait 10 seconds until the blood oxygen (SpO₂) and pulse (PR) values stabilize and no longer fluctuate significantly. The numbers displayed at this point are valid readings. (This is a rechargeable pulse oximeter; the LCD screen and large font make it easier to read.)

Reliable, Accurate, and Easy to Use!
I’m very pleased with this pulse oximeter. From the moment it arrived, it felt well-built and reliable. The display is large, bright, and easy to read, even in low-light situations. The readings are quick and consistent, typically appearing within a few seconds of placing it on my finger. One of the standout features for me is its rechargeable battery. I appreciate not having to constantly buy replacement batteries, and the included charging cable makes it super convenient to top it off whenever needed. So far, the battery life has been impressive holding a charge for multiple days with regular use.The device itself is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around in a pocket or bag. It’s perfect for monitoring oxygen saturation and pulse rate at home, during workouts, or while traveling. I’ve even compared its readings with a professional medical device, and they were virtually identical every time.Overall, this pulse oximeter delivers excellent performance at a very affordable price. It’s a great tool for anyone looking to keep an eye on their oxygen levels and heart rate with confidence. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a dependable, user friendly monitor.

    Very reliable, and rechargeable!
This is an excellent Oxymeter. It responds in 5~10 seconds on average. I have tested it down to 64° F (17.7° C) and it worked just fine. The meter was left on a metal table for 1 hour while I was outside before test. My previous meter wouldn’t work below 74°F (23.3° C). The display is a little on the dim side, but still readable. This meter is a bit sensitive to sunlight. It stops reading and goes blank, sometimes even on overcast days or if the shade is not adequate. Just cover it with the other hand or hold it under your shirt.Comparing readings against the vital statistics machine in the doctor’s office and the one used at physical therapy, this meter is very accurate. It rarely differed from the larger machines, and only by +- 1 count. It was 2 or 3 seconds slower responding to changes. My previous meter, at 3 times the price and fancy Bluetooth/app nonsense was never that good.Since the device is powered Up/Down by opening and closing instead of a power button, it will not time out if it takes awhile to get a response. That’s a plus! With my clumsy fingers, trying to squeeze it open isn’t happening. It’s easier to gently pry it open and insert finger.Did I mention? It’s RECHARGEABLE!😎

HANDY TOOL! Now I know exactly where things are.
This little pulse oximeter is so handy to have around! It’s lightweight, clips right on the finger, and gives an accurate SpO2 and pulse reading within seconds. I love that it’s rechargeable – no more scrambling for batteries – and the display is clear and easy to read, even outdoors. I’ve been using it after workouts and also to keep an eye on my health at home, and it’s quick, reliable, and super convenient. The compact size makes it easy to carry when I’m on the go. Definitely a smart buy for peace of mind and everyday health tracking!

    Good Pulse Oximeter
I’m a nurse, so I wanted a rechargeable pulse ox that I could carry on me so I could immediately check a patient’s heart rate & oxygen saturation if they aren’t currently hooked up to something. This does exactly what I need it to do, & it’s quick. The charge lasts a long time, & it’s easy to clean. I’d definitely recommend.

Its ok but hard to hold onto
Works great for what its supposed to do, stays charged well. The only thing I wasn’t fond of was me not being able to grip ot to open it well enough. It kept shooting out of my hand and I felt like i was in a scene of Pretty Woman lol. I switched back to my old one that was easy to grip.
