Love it
Love this item as I experience hip and low back pain. The heat is most comforting and with I lay on my side the heat along with the compression makes a huge difference. Also will apply castor oil, a layer of organic fabric, Saran Wrap and then the heated wrap. Has a velcro strap that makes for an easy and adjustable fit. Also use it along the spine and my neck/shoulders. No smell

I don’t usually write product reviews, but I wanted to let other folks know how much this heating pad has helped me!I like everything about it (not the least of which is the purple option) :)It is filled with flax and rice so it doesn’t burn or melt in the microwave. It holds its heat for at least 20 minutes, is the right width, and has a 2″ belt (width) which is adjustable and held securely by velcro.It really took the edge of my acute lower back pain so I could comfortably do yoga stretches.Really, no one paid me to write this!Sue

Warms & soothes lower back ache
This is excellent for my lumbar spine ache and I can move it down when sitting to also cover the sacrum. The Velcro band is convenient and keeps the heating pad in place as I move around. I’ve had the product only a couple of days so wondering how long that will last. It says to heat for 90 to 120 mins. On our microwave 2 mins is perfect and retains heat for quite a while.Only CON: The band is ultra long, I’m slim so it leaves a lot of extra band which I just tuck underneath so not a big deal.

I’ve been seeking a similar microwavable lumbar belt to what my dad has worn a few years but keep running in to horror stories of these things from overseas starting on fire in the microwave. Most have no transparency to the contents and one has to wonder what mystery ingredients they are putting on their bodies – and sadly, the reviews say they don’t hold heat or cold for more than a few minutes.I finally found My Heating Pad. Female owned small USA business with amazing customer service and follow up. These people truly care about their products and the buyers. Kudos!So well made, super comfortable and the key – RICE. These are filled with rice so when you microwave, you get a lovely soft moist heating sensation and as directions say, heat a first time and then reheat after about 15 min and I get a full 30+ min of comfortMy Heating Pad lumbar is now my coffee companion. Eventually gets destroyed by use
I would give this a great review, but I’ve bought and lost 2 over the years; they eventually die because they randomly get holes burnt through them (as you can see from other reviewers). I can’t say I microwaved it for longer when it happens. I’ve tried taping the holes shut with Gorilla tape but it just becomes a problem down the line, so yeah they don’t last long.

This is Perfect. It hold its heat really well and straps on with soft, stretchy Velcro. The chambers keep the rice inside from slipping to one side or the other, keeping the heat rig hit were you need it. The dual sides also allow you switch up the level of heat you want, with the fleece side for less heat and regular side for more.It works insanely well for lower back pain that’s been worsening with all the work-from-home computer sitting, and for cramps (huge thank you to the woman that designed this!).Lastly, it has clear instructions on a soft sewn-on tag so you don’t have to worry about keeping the paper instructions that come with it.

does not heat in 90 seconds needs 3 min the more it get microwaved it burns and smells,flax seed and rice will burn and stink,tried 2 of these sent both back,THIS WAS THE 1ST ONE ORDERED A SECOND SAME THING RETURNED

I have had a slip and fall injury, and I have to say that this product helped my nerve and muscle recovery. I have used other heating items but this by far beats them all. Its very easy to use and I like that it has a soft fuzzy side and a plain cloth side to use. It has a long velcro belt so that you can easily wrap it around your waist for your lower back or to wrap around your leg etc. You will not be sorry if you purchased this item, it sure helped me.

Probably the best heat pack I’ve used! the material is great quality, and the straps stick well without annoyingly sticking to clothes. I can walk around and do housework and it stays in place, giving the comfort that I need. I love how it is sewn in sections so that the filling doesn’t move around.This is a lifesaver to my achy, pregnant body!
