Great, simple and well made.
I couldn’t be happier with the Safety 1st Steady Clip!Just got mine in over the weekend, and I happened to have my roommate’s 2 year old nephew over. These clippers worked great – they seem to be sharp enough to make it through the nail effortlessly, and the little guy didn’t even notice his mom clipping his nails! The grip is super comfortable, even for a guy with bigger hands, like me!I’m actually planning to keep the clippers for myself, as after trying them on my own 30 year old nails they worked great, and feel great to use.The grip is lined with a smooth, firm rubber that rests comfortably in the hand, the construction quality is satisfying, and the lever tucks perfectly into the body of the clippers, making them easy to store! The whole piece is pretty lightweight, which makes them nice for traveling, and the form factor is relatively compact, so they do tuck away easily. I also really like that, since they are smaller clippers, I can get a rounder, more even clip. I love these things. I stumbled across them as a new mom 11 years ago and never made my kid’s fingers bleed. When that kid was old enough to start cutting his own nails, I bought him a pair. Now, his brother is old enough, so I ordered a pair for him. I still use the originals on myself; I like the cut better than traditional nail clippers. Easy to hold and maneuver.

Withstands years and still as sturdy as day 1
Recently ordered a second pair of these exact clippers and my son has to travel out of state for surgery for a few weeks and my other children will be staying at home so we came into a situation where we needed two sets of clippers so that kids in two different locations could continue to have their nails cut. These are so easy to use and they cut wonderfully. When needing a second pair I searched for the exact pair that I had purchased more than 5 years previously because I know how well that same pair continues to work to this day. I wouldn’t have any other pair. Even before these two pairs we had the exact same clippers before then that lasted for year before we lost them. So safety first clippers have been my go to for all of my children and my oldest is now over 13, and it’s the clippers I have been using since then. They last and provide a strong and accurate cut for years to come.

Over the last couple of years I have tried 4 different clippers and a baby nail filling machine – all were difficult to use for different reasons but one thing was sure, my baby and now toddler hated them. Although she still doesn’t like me cutting her nails, with these clippers she is less resistant. Mainly because they are gentle and grip her tiny nails perfectly. I would strongly recommend this product

Really like this toddler nail clipper! It’s easy to hold and use, and trimming little nails felt way less stressful than I expected. No slips or accidents so far, and my toddler didn’t fuss much either. Simple, safe, and does the job perfectly.

Got the first one from a babycare store and it worked so well, it was sharp and easy to use. I wanted to get a same one, but this does not work at all. It is so blunt it doesn’t even cut paper nor tissue paper. Won’t recommend, I threw it away without even finish cutting my baby’s nails.
