Does the job without the burn
I bought the HealthWise Pain Relief Cleansing Spray to keep in our first aid kit, and it’s one of those products you don’t think much about until you really need it.The biggest win is that it doesn’t sting. Even on fresh cuts or scrapes, it cleans the area without that eye-watering burn, and the pain relief kicks in quickly. It also doesn’t have an overly medicinal smell and doesn’t leave behind a sticky residue, which makes it much more pleasant to use than some traditional antiseptics. On top of that, it is a good value for the price, especially since it combines cleaning and pain relief in one product.One small note is that the spray cap was a little confusing to open the first time. You have to press a small button while turning the lid to unlock it. Once you realize how it works, it is no problem, and it actually makes sense since it helps prevent the bottle from spraying accidentally in a bag or first aid kit.I like that it handles two jobs at once, so you are not juggling multiple bottles. The spray applies evenly and is easy to control, and the bottle size works well for both home and car kits.Overall, this is a solid first aid staple that makes minor injuries a lot less miserable. I will definitely keep this on hand.

The Lidocaine Took Away My Pain
I decided to order this “Maximum OTC Strength Pain Relief Cleansing Spray” because it not only “Effectively Kills 99.99% Of Germs” but also contains Lidocaine 4% for topical pain relief. While it contains the same antiseptic ingredient and concentration as Bactine MAX, there’s a typo on this page. The product title states it contains “13% Benzalkonium,” but it’s actually 0.13% Benzalkonium, as shown on the product label.With that out of the way, I liked my first experience with this product. I’m a not-so-proud member of the Frequent Toe-Stubbers Club. I constantly lose toenails on my right foot. Last night, it was the middle toe on that foot that took the punishment.I accidentally kicked a heavy piece of furniture, and it felt like I’d broken my middle toe. My 97-year-old Navy Veteran Dad has prescription Lidocaine 5% patches for upper back relief. So I thought I’d try some of this Pain Relief Spray on the toe, since it still hurt after 30 minutes (see photo).It didn’t provide immediate pain relief, but within 10-15 minutes, the pain stopped, and I didn’t notice it again the rest of the night. I went from nearly taking an Advil for the pain to forgetting I had even stubbed my toe.That’s a win in my book. Now I need to put lotion on my feet.

Just What You Need For At Home Relief
Just because you might not need a doctor for specific types of injuries doesn’t necessarily mean that some sort of first aid isn’t needed. This is an excellent spray to have on hand for many of those purposes. First off, it will help to cleanse a wound without the worry of it eventually becoming infected. Right there will help keep the doctor away. But with the addition of lidocaine, it offers pain relief so that you will feel less discomfort. Especially useful for the kids who always end up with cuts and scratches and stress out over the various pains they can cause. Works well and lasts for a good while. It’s a nice clean mist that sprays on easily without even having to touch the wound. Comes in what I think of as a medium sized bottle that will provide plenty of uses. It’s a nice clean spray that will not cause any staining and does not feel sticky, oily nor greasy. No stinging either. Perfect for those who don’t want to be bothered with the mess that some over the counter substances can leave you with. No real scent either which should make some happy. All in all, this is a must for all at home, or even work, first aid kits. Especially for households with kids, but great for adults needs too.

Works Well Good Price
Cheaper than the common name brand with the exact same ingredients and results. This cleans the wound and numbs the pain. Good for small cuts, scrapes, and bites. I used it on some mosquito bites that were itching and it help a lot. It doesn’t burn or sting either. This is good to have in your medicine cabinet or car. I highly recommend.

Effective but Bad Spray
I tested this cleansing spray on a minor burn on my stomach. I like that it doesn’t have any odd odor and dries well without stickiness. It’s a bit watery and runs down fast but that’s great for cleaning any wounds. However, I did feel a slight sting upon application even though it claims “pain free”. The pain went away pretty fast as it dried and lidocaine seemed to work to ease the pain.I did not like the spray function as it was shooting at the wound too directly. I was hoping that it would be more of a gentle spray but it sprayed to strongly causing pain to my open wound. Also, I had to push down the nozzle pretty hard to get the product out.Overall, I believe this product is effective and good value for money. But I didn’t think it was the easiest one to use due to poor spray function.

I really like that this product is a spray, so there’s no touching the wound or interacting with cotton or other pads to clean the wound. It also dries quickly. However, I wouldn’t recommend using it on large areas or very raw skin, as the label warns.If you use the secured sprayer, be prepared to use both hands to open it. It can be tricky but it’s actually easy once you get to know how to do it.It might cause a mild sting if the cut is fresh, but it fades away quickly. It’s not sticky or smelly and can be covered by a band-aid after application, depending on needs.It’s effective and good quality overall. In terms of value for money, the difference is not big between this brand and the name brand, but it’s always good to save a bit.
