This is a good purchase. I always wondered what a tongue scraper is. It is smooth stainless with no ridges but it is another tool for oral health. It comes in a sleek stainless compartment.

Felt kind of sharp on my tongue
I purchased these as a health regiment. I thought they would be good since they are stainless steel. However, they felt sharp on my tongue. Ended up returning and buying the cheap ones from dollar tree they are gentler on my tongue.

This is literally the Rolls Royce of tongue scrapers!
I’m a mega fan of tongue scrapers/cleaners and have used them, religiously, for many years. I’ve learned that while a lot of them look similar, they are not all created equal. I loathe the cheap, flimsy, thin scrapers that are easy to bend, hurt a little to use and have an odd taste to them (so who knows what they are made of). The good news is these are NOT the crummy scrapers- far from actually!This set arrived incredibly quick. A beautiful (natural), branded box had all the product info on it, info about the brand and a legit QR code that brings you to the ME Mother Earth Instagram.Inside, two branded tins were stacked on top of each other (with a piece of protective tissue in between so the tins stayed in pristine condition). The tins alone are gorgeous- great quality (not cheap or thin), nice and shiny, durable and they have the branding engraved on the top! They are perfect for travel and I LOVE that they are hinged together- so you never have to worry about losing the top. The presentation/unboxing alone was outstanding!Inside the tins are the scrapers.Now, I really want to stress here that these are easily the best quality (amd best looking) scrapers I have ever used!They each measure just shy of 6” long and have a nice weight of around 0.4oz. They are made with beautiful, clean and super smooth stainless steel that is easy to clean and doesn’t have that strange taste/smell. They don’t get that worn down, foggy/cloudy look to them either. Again, the bottom of each scraper is engraved beautifully with the brands name and logo. That engraving really does add something to these that sets them apart. Its also a huge testament to the quality of the stainless too because you can’t engrave a thin, cheap piece of metal like this! I love it!This scraper immediately took over as the main one I use, not because of how it looks or what it’s made with though.The top part of the scraper looks just like all the others, but it’s slightly different. The very top part (that does the actual scraping) is a bit wider and has a much nicer/better curve to it. That extra bit of metal really helps clean the tongue better, without feeling a thing and it makes it easier to clean too! PLUS, it doesn’t trigger my gag reflex like other units have.I’m honestly blown away at how amazing these are!I was thrilled when I saw how nice and durable these are, but I never expected something so small (the size/shape of the top) would make such an incredible difference- but it really does!I ended up buying 2 more packs of these- one for my daughter and one for my husband. Now we all have one we can use and one to have as a back up and for travel. You absolutely can’t beat this 2 pack (with the tins!) for $15! I paid $10 for the scraper I’ve been using for years, and it came in a crummy plastic case, so this is a DEAL!If you are looking to get into tongue scraping , THIS is 100% the one you want to get! If you already are a scraper, this is like the Rolls Royce of tongue scrapers- trust me!I’ve ordered A LOT of things off Amazon in 2025 and even though this is a small purchase, it’s easily in my top 3 favorite things I’ve ordered all year!

Good eco-friendly tongue scraper
This is a nice two piece stainless steel tongue scraper set. Each scraper came in its own travel case which is nice. This lets you keep another at work, in a bag, etc or give it as a gift. While there’s not specific instructions on how to use and clean, I do wish there was a small instruction sheet in each tin though. This is really needed if you give one as a gift, they would know whom the manufacturer is to look it up, how to use or clean it.I found their website and they had the care instructions on there. The scraper was easy to clean once I read that. The first time I washed it with soap and dried it by hand. Each time since, I just needed to run it under warm water and dried. Functionaly, they seem to be on par with what you would expect for a tongue scraper. Quality of them and the tins seem to be pretty good. Each is lightweight so it’s easy to handle.It’s fairly easy to use as well. There’s not any extra sharp edges which is great for obvious reasons. It feels soft against the tongue which is nice. I have not ever used a tongue scraper before. The feel took some time for me to get used too though. While the tin is nice, they can get a little lodge in there so you have to work them out but it’s not that big of an issue to deal with.Overall happy with the purchase, the story behind the sellers (see side of the box) and they feel like they are a descent value for your money.
