Great quality and effective tongue cleaner
This tongue scraper at first reminded me of those plastic single-handed versions that didn’t work well so my expectation was not too high, but the uniqueness of this design merited a try. Quite to the point, I’m really impressed by this tongue scraper. First given that it’s made from stainless steel, it actually has a good weight to it. The metal side so quite sturdy and it has multi-layering and the other side which they call a “soft silicone” style also with mixed surface areas. They do give a spare rubber version, which I guess is for when the other wears out or even if you want to swap between different people.I first used it on the metal scraper side, and with just a few scrapes, only having to use one hand, all the gunk was cleaned off. This was equally, if not more effective, than my two-handed one (picture included for comparison). I figured using the silicone side would be more gentle and not as effective, but I was quite surprised how strong the silicone was at doing it’s job, almost as good as the metal side!When I scrape my son’s tongue with the two-handed version, sometimes I’m not able to scoop the gunk quite right and it falls down onto the floor. When I used this one, the gunk seemed to get trapped in between the layering of the metal side leaving me without an issue with having the gunk fall off. This was a great!In sum, I’m really impressed with this style of tongue scraper, and I highly recommend you give it a try if you like one-handed operation and are fine with using a steel scraper for your tongue.

I like this tongue scraper and tongue cleaning brush combo. It works very well and feels well made and sturdy. It’s also easy to clean by rinsing with hot water after you’re done with it each time.The combo tongue cleaner/scraper being stainless steel is what I like about it the most. I have been using a tongue scraper for years, but the choices were never what I liked. The metal ones were either the two-handed versions, or the ones that look similar to this but do not work as well. I have been using a plastic one for years because I never liked the metal ones as much. This one actually works better for me than the other metal ones.Using it is pretty self-explanatory, which is good because the instructions were lacking. You simply start at the back part of your tongue and scrape forward. For the scrubber, just scrub. At least, that is what I did. I actually use the scrubber first and then scrape after brushing and flossing my teeth.This tongue scrubber/scraper is fairly inexpensive. It’s currently $9.90, which is a good value. I’m not sure where you can get the replacement scrubber brushes or how long they last. The quality seems very good for both the scraper and the brushes. Overall, I’m pleased with this little tongue tool. I would recommend it.

The silicone brush side works best!
I’ve used other tongue scrapers in the past, and I was curious to try this one because it was a different style than I’ve used before. I had a curved metal scraper, and this one has two sides that are shaped differently. After using it for several weeks I have grown to really like it. At first, I thought the metal “blades” would be more effective in removing excess gunk from my tongue, but I found that the softer silicone brush side was better at cleaning. I start with the metal side for a while then switch to the brush side. Overall, I find that using this tool with both sides alternating has proven to be a pretty effective cleaning process for my tongue. I definitely would recommend this to others.

Easy to use and clean, seems to work better than a toothbrush alone.
I’ve only used this tongue scraper for a few days but I’m beginning to see a lessening in the film on my tongue, which surprised me, because I’ve been brushing my tongue nightly with a toothbrush a bit stiffer than the soft toothbrush I use to brush my teeth. I didn’t think I had a film problem! The toothbrush sometimes scratched, but I’ve felt no discomfort from this tool so far. The first use, I didn’t think the tool was doing anything, but by the third use (and my tongue started feeling less coated) I realized it was. The tool comes with an extra silicone head, although I expect the original head will last at least a few months. I do wish the bristles were a bit longer, but the scrubbing action is doing the job, I suppose. I don’t know if additional heads are sold, but plan to seek them out. The instructions on the package are skimpy; I found what I needed to know with an online search. But the tool is easy to clean with warm rinsing or a soap-and-water scrub whenever I feel it’s needed. I like the tool, and plan to keep using it unless replacements aren’t available at the time I need them; buying an entire new unit each time wouldn’t be cost-efficient for me.Recommended.
