Excellent equipment for a home gym, however, keep in mind that the plastic bases can break easily if the dumbbell is not placed carefully.

Excellent quality and very practical
These dumbbells exceeded my expectations. They are sturdy, easy to adjust, and save a lot of space. The rubber coating makes them quiet and safe for the floor. Perfect for working out at home without needing multiple sets of weights. A very good investment for the price.

For the price, the rating should probably be closer to 3.5 or 4. However, I am going down to 3 due to the experience. I saw another customer had a similar experience to mine so it’s worth noting:The Experience: I received the wrong product. I ordered a set of the newest version of these dumbbells. However, I received a single dumbbell and it was the previous version. Fortunately Amazon corrected the issue with no additional charges, except my time. I had to wait an additional two weeks to get the actual set.The Quality: First of all, the price of these dumbbells do reflect the quality of them, so you get what you pay for. Don’t get me wrong, they do seem safe to use. But the plastic used seems cheap and flimsy. I question how long these will last. but so far, they do the job. Obviously one buys these for the convenience of changing weight on the fly. These do that well. I do wish there were smaller intervals, but I knew what I was getting into when I bought them. If you are on a tight budget, I recommend them. I would rate the quality at a 3.5 if it weren’t for the mailing delays. However, if I had to do this all over again, I’d prob spend a little more and go with something that feels more sturdy. But TBH, IDK how much more I’d have to pay to get better quality. Bottom line: I’m keeping them. They do the job. they’re convenient.
