Completely nonfictional
I purchased the FDK Baby Pacifier Oral Thermometer and unfortunately it did not work at all. From the first attempt, the temperature never displayed on the screen, making the thermometer completely unusable.I carefully followed the instructions, ensured the battery was properly installed, and tried using it multiple times on different occasions. The screen remained blank every time, with no temperature reading appearing. I also tried troubleshooting on my own in case I was missing something, but nothing worked.For a baby product—especially a thermometer—accuracy and basic functionality are essential. This product failed to provide even a single reading, which was frustrating and concerning since it’s meant to be used when parents need quick and reliable information.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this thermometer. It may be defective, but receiving a product that doesn’t function straight out of the box is unacceptable.

Baby pacifier thermometer- cool invention!
This is such a great tool to have in your parent arsenal for baby temperature readings. I think it would be especially useful when baby is extra fussy. You can soothe them while getting their temp at the same time. If you’ve ever tried getting a rectal temp when your baby is wailing and upset, you know what I mean.I really like that it comes with a cover. And it’s very easy to use. Just push the button once to turn on and let your baby suck on it for a bit while it does its thing. It will beep when the temperature reading is achieved. There is also a battery save feature which shuts off automatically after 10 minutes.For the life of me, I could not figure out how to replace the battery and nothing was listed in the instructions so I’m guessing you can’t for obvious safety reasons. With all of my attempts at trying to open it, I can assure you, the product is secure and will not come apart. It’s an awesome product but would advise having at least one other thermometer on hand as backup.Currently it’s $17.99 but with the coupon, you can get it for around $14 which I think is a fair price. I feel it’s a little high at the full price.
