Fastest delivery of best swabs at best price… what’s not to like?
Dallas pharmacies are all pushing their store brands, even if that requires them to discontinue stocking BD swabs. That’s because knowledgeable users know that BD swabs are bigger and twice as thick as theirs, so customers always choose them over the cheapo stuff. I haven’t found any other brand that comes close to BD’s quality (and I’ve been looking for a couple of decades).In these days of pandemic-level bug attacks, I figure I need the best protection I can get, so I hit the Amazon pages for help, and I found it! With this purchase, I’m set for several months, and I know from experience that BD swabs will last that long without leaking or drying out.In fact, I go to extremes, and I soak my swabs with extra alcohol, over and above what BD offers. I keep a bottle of 91% alcohol handy, and I splash my swabs after I open the packages. That’s where BD’s extra layers are extra important. They’re thick enough to hold the extra soak, while the other brands can’t. I know some uses make that move counter-productive, but if your needs allow the extra splash, I suggest you give that a try.One more point. Because this price was so low, I was worried the swabs might be old and dried out. I’ve checked these out, and they are not damaged or out of date or anything else that could cause you problems. They’re the same high quality product you’d get from your local retailers. Like I said in the headline… what’s not to like?

BD rebranded to Embecta earlier this year, so the swabs are the same high-quality product, just with the updated branding. This is an update to my earlier review. When you receive a substitute for a product without an explanation, it makes you think, am I receiving the same quality product. In this case, it is the same quality you should trust and depend on for your personnel needs. Thank You.

The picture is not correct but it is an BD company that it comes from and the actual alcohol pad is what BD produces. The price at this quantity is cheaper that ones you get in a pharmacy.

They are alcohol soaked wipes
They are a lot like paper, though I think it’s a different fiber. I’ve never found one that dried out before use. No, wait. One did once. The box was destroyed (It might have sat out in the rain), so I have a pile of them in a plastic bag.

These wipes are the best-performing alcohol wipes that I have found. They are packed well and do not dry out. In addition, they do not leave a sticky film after the alcohol dries off.
