Different name, same product
Although displayed as BD alcohol swabs, I received Embecta alcohol swabs instead. Most alcohol swabs are paper thin, but these were the same thickness and quality as the BDs. I guess BD sold this product to another company

I seem to have trouble finding this brand in local stores, so I order in bulk from Amazon. The BD Alcohol swabs are so much better than the store brand, so much thicker. Ordering a whole case is really convenient.

The best….
I’ve been getting these for years, although they’re harder to find in stores now and even more so since COVID arrived. I got these for acne or to clean my face (skin) and they work fine. They’re a lot thicker than cheaper pads and are great for traveling. I am always finding new ways to use them. I take them to work to clean my mouse and keyboard too. You may pay more for these, but they’re worth it.

The best alcohol preps on the market
These are the best alcohol swabs. No, they’re not for wiping down objects or surfaces (Since COVID I’ve seen many negative reviews of alcohol swabs from people who don’t understand that they are not for sterilizing surfaces but rather for preparation for injections). These are not too small, they’re thick, soft and liberally soaked with isopropyl alcohol. Perfect!

Not the same as BD wipes
They aren’t bad; however, I found the ad deceptive. I thought I was ordering BD alcohol wipes at a great price, but I got these instead. They are not as thick as BD wipes though better than Curad standard wipes. I will use them up, yet I will not buy them again. Yes, BD wipes are more expensive, but worth it.

Great swabs, gentle and soft…
These are a daily necessity for me. I use 4 a day so this is a regular order for me. I love the little swab towels. They are soft and fabric like. Some swabs are like tissue paper and don’t stay moist. These BD swabs stay moist after several swabs. I have gotten a few dry swabs but not often. I only buy this brand of swabs for the last 8 years. If you need to use swabs I recommend this brand.
