Affordable quality moisturizer for both face and body
I have been using this moisturizer for years. The amount of high quality lotion you get for the price is unbeatable. It is staple in my home year round. I have normal to greasy skin and still find it effective for my skin type. I love how i can use it on my face and body. It is very moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I do recommend letting it fully dry before putting makeup on top of it or clothes. It is also unscented and doesn’t break me out.

This is really good stuff! Instantly took care of the flaky skin on my legs and left them soft. Happy with that result I went on to do my arms, chest and neck — you get the idea. I had seen this brand recommended in the NYT. They were right! Scent free.

A quality product for a low price
This moisturizing cream is great. I read about it in a New York Times Wirecutter review. It was rated highest among a lot more expensive creams. I use it almost uniquely on my face though it would be great for the whole body. Before I had used much more expensive moisturizers from Whole Foods. It seems to work as well as the pricey brands. It come in a quite large container that I think might last a few months. It’s cheap enough to use on your whole body if you wanted. It is thick but not too thick. It goes on well and blends nicely. I also wear it under foundation.

Due to Guillain-Barre Syndrome, my skin is extremely dry. This product is not greasy and it is so moisturizing that I don’t even need to use it everyday.

Lifesaver for my eczema!
I’m a big fan of CeraVe’s other moisturizers, but ever since I’ve developed eczema during the dry seasons, I’ve switched over to this version to help keep my skin hydrated and moisturized (tip: hydration = adding water to skin, moisturization = retaining water in skin).Compared to the normal moisturizer, this one is definitely thicker and better at both hydrating and moisturizing. The trade-off? It’s thicker, so it feels much heavier on your skin. If you have oily skin, you should probably stick to the thinner version.So far, I haven’t had any issues with clogged pores or breakouts when using this cream. I like to layer it with a toner and some serums. For eczema spots, I use a repair cream and finish it off with an occlusive.
