Finally, A Pulse Oximeter Worth Its Salt
The problem with most oximeters is that their basic design resembles a clothes pin with the sides open to stray light when a fingertip is inserted. This results in the inability to take a reading in sunlight or other strong luminescence. Fingertip oximeters in a medical operating room may have baffles to limit extraneous light. This unit has plastic side shields that mask external light. This enables blood oxygen to be measured while active and outdoors. In sum, this unit works in situations where others fail.

Quick read on pulse, oxygen level, and heart activity
Works quickly when you stick it on your finger to get your pulse, oxygen level, heart activity, and winning lottery numbers (just kidding on that last one). It appears to be accurate compared to other measurements taken at doctor’s offices. When I had A-Fib the irregular heart activity was evident on their little graphic display. I would buy again.
