How does the plethysmograph work?
Each wave (see image) corresponds to a heartbeat and the wave amplitude corresponds to the amount of blood detected. If the wave amplitude is low, this means that your blood perfusion is too low for a reliable read. You should retake your measurement and make sure that your finger is positioned right under the LED lights.

Can I check my readings while I am exercising?
Any movement can cause the device to reset its readings. If you are in the middle of exercising, we advise to take readings during resting phases while the body is not mobile. If you have finished, wait 10-15 minutes before taking a reading.
What is the SpO2 and pulse rate range the pulse oximeter can register?
The digital pulse oximeter is able to measure SpO2 between 70% and100%, and pulse rate between 30 and 250 beats per minute (bpm).
How do I know the battery is low?
The battery icon will display the low power indicator. Please replace the batteries.
Why does the reading fluctuate and why is the reading different on different fingers?
It is normal and natural for your SpO2 and pulse rate to fluctuate as the amount of arterial blood pulses and changes with each heartbeat. A ±3 fluctuation in your SpO2 is considered normal.
How do I turn off my device?
To turn off your device, simply remove your finger from the finger chamber. The pulse oximeter will power off automatically within 8-10 seconds.

Check your O2 and Heartrate quick an easy
Great little tool. I have affib and this helps me check for it daily. The o2 measurement is a great add, since people my age have to watch for it. Not expensive and does the job. Good for my kit.

Accurate and dependable.
We purchased this oxygen level monitor because it was the same as the unit the hospital is using. It works very well as long as your finger temperature is normal. This is a common problem that this type of devise encounters. If you don’t get a reading quickly check to see how warm the persons hand feels and if cold warm it up. We use a facecloth soaked in hot water. When checked against the hospitals moreSophisticated equipment it reads the same or extremely close.Easy to use and durable with excellent battery life. It’s a device I believe you can count on to provide accurate oxygen level measurements , recommended.

Worth it
This one is fast & easy to read the results. It’s easy to see that it’s higher quality than the last one I had. Very easy to use & I have no doubt I’ll appreciate this purchase for quite a while.

It works reliably, though with hiccups
The most important feature for pulse oximeter– the only feature, honestly– is accuracy. If it doesn’t give you correct information, it’s useless. This delivers.I got this model because I have breathing issues, and I didn’t want to spend $$$ for a high-end medical device. Three review services that don’t do clickbait said this model was the best budget option– as good as you could get without being FDA-vetted. I got it– but I also asked my sister-in-law (a nurse) if I could borrow the one her hospital uses. After about a week, I’m sold. I put the Innovo on one finger and the other one on another for about a week. They match within one point consistently– and the variation could come from using it on different hands or fingers. So why not 5 stars? The Innovo consistently takes longer to give a readout– and sometimes it doesn’t. It can go 15 seconds reading and re-reading with no output. Eventually I have to put it on a different finger or switch hands. Also, except for the pulse and the O2 data, every screen is too small to read. I can’t read anything if I push the button for more data. Yeah, I know– limited space. So why is the instruction sheet that comes with it just as small? The docs on the web site aren’t great, either. But it does the thing you need it to do properly. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would.
