Wonderful product, until it suddenly breaks
I had this product recommended to me by a friend. It was fantastic at first, used it for my sore back muscles and muscle spasms in lower and mid back as well as shoulders. Truly wonderful.Since it resolved my muscle issues, I only had to use it once in awhile, less than 5-10 minutes weekly. When using it on my girflfriend’s lower back, it suddenly got louder and had a weird vibration. I stopped, made sure everything was connected alright, and resumed using it. After 20-30 seconds there was a very loud noise and very strong vibration. I turned it off and there was obviously a component broken and rattling around inside.I have contacted the company to inquire about a replacement. Will update with 5 stars if they stand by their product and replace it. This massage gun has been used for less than a total of 2 hours run time over 12 months, it should last longer than that. Hope to update with a positive review soon.Edit: Contacted the company via email and phone. It took a couple days for them to call me back, but once they did they immediately authorized a replacement unit. I received a brand new unit (including battery and accessories) within a week.The malfunction occurred because of short screws and thin plastic housing that the internal motor is mounted to. Four screws hold it in place, but once some of the plastic weakens and breaks the motor is completely unsecured. Hopefully they have improved this defect within the last year. Overall, due to product effectiveness and great customer service/warranty I would recommend this product.

This is the poor mans massage, best available, and you don’t know how much you need one of these.
So I spent quite a bit of time looking at the specs of all of these guns I could find on the web. I’m a mechanical/electrical and computer engineering major student, currently, Marine corps vet, long time lifter and runner, and muay thai/BJJ practitioner, specializing in bio mechanics, who found himself with sever inescapable back and neck pain due to a twisted spine from years of pushing my body as hard as I could. Doctors told my I was just going to have to get used to it and deal with the pain, and take a regimen of opiates as they usually do with everything. 2 months of using this I’m back to being able to focus in class and starting to run miles again, and that’s after a year of getting no where with physical therapists, chiropractors, xrays, MRIs, and waiting in hospital lobbies. This helped me relieve tension I didn’t even know was causing me issues. Guess what, you need this more than you realize. I promise. If your an athlete, or an aspiring one, this will cut stretching time, massages, and make foam rolling obsolete. It’s better, GET IT. If your having chronic pain such as with back or neck, feet, IT band pain, headaches even, GET IT. If your partner or family is sore all the time and asking for a massage frequently, GET IT. This has THE BEST specs of all the massagers I’ve checked, with all the bits you’ll ever need. For the price, the products by lifeprofitness can not be beat. I originally got one that only lasted a couple weeks, it happens with electronics, especially one that vibrates as much as these, but they actually usually last a while. Plus, this company offers A LIFETIME gaurantee. You don’t see that on products not made to last. And the company had a replacement at my door in less than a week. The were very helpful, in the email I could tell I was talking to an actual respectable person, and convinced me they are one of the few companies that actually care about quality of product at the most affordable price, and maintaining a solid reputation.So, IF YOUR EVEN LOOKING AT PERCUSSION MASSAGERS, leave this page right now, and go shell out the extra fifty bucks for the upgraded version, the Sonic Pro X. This Sonic Handheld Percussion Massage Gun is great for sore muscles!It adjusts for multiple speeds and has 8 head options. This gun comes with a case and a manual.A little heavier than I expected, but I am new to massage guns and really haven’t held any others. With my smaller hands It can become hard to hold the gun in one position for an extended period of time, but I think with more use my hand strength will increase. It can be challenging to get parts of your own back, but having a partner in your household to work your back can be very helpful!It works very well and it is priced lower compared to other guns!Pros:Price – it is easily comparable to competitors of similar price. And generally seems to cost a little less than I have seen for othersVariety – The attachments that come with the unit are great at addressing different muscles. I have had this for a short time so primarily have used the standard ball and flat head attachments.Ease of Use – Product is very easy to use, attachments slide in and out easily.Adequate Power – Product outputs an adequate amount of power to be gentle enough for tender areas, but intense enough for most deeper issues.Cons:Adjustments – The unit can not adjust its power output Up and Down, it can only go up and cycles back to the beginning.Attachments – The standard massage ball attachment has a texture to it that grabs onto loose fitting clothing. I would recommend using on bare skin. I did have some problems a few times with the ball attachment staying put as I didn’t push it all the way in before powering up. I like “click” feedback so I know the part is all the way in and this doesn’t provide that.Weight – Seems a little heavy but I have nothing to compare it to. This probably works to my advantage as I can let the machine do the work and not have to add additional pressure.Overall this has been a game changer in my household. Would definitely recommend.
