Best product we’ve found for the purpose of cleaning pressure sores and the like.
This is the best product we’ve found so far for the purpose. Combined with Ultra Soft Non-Moistened disposable dry wipes, we can get the wound clean with very little or no pain, and keep it clean. Other products have let the wound get infected, but not this one. I think people should keep some of this on hand when they don’t need it. I suggest spraying the cloths rather than the wound, so none of this product goes to waste. It is a bit expensive.

I’ve been looking for something like this for a while – a sterile wound flush which is gentler than hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, but neither a gel nor salve. This is quite good for cleaning abrasions after you hit it with the soap and water, or between changes of bandages. Give it a couple good sprays and pat dry with some gauze. It doesn’t really replace any specific remedy, it just compliments them. For serious abrasions it still burns a bit, but nowhere near as much as the two most popular disinfectants. The spray is wide and strong, making it easier to use.Would recommend.

Easy to use, now healing very nicely!
I really like this! I have fissures created by chaffing in some areas of my poor crippled body. It can be difficult to get them clean without breaking them open again when I wash with a wash rag, soap and water. Soap and water also tends to dry out the skin in these areas which does not help the problem. I started using this wound cleanser with some soft gauze pads (also purchased on Amazon) and am very pleased with the results. It is more gentle to my skin than the soap and comes off easily, no rinsing required, simply pat dry. Since I so I am not rinsing to get all the soap off, I am not causing them to break open every time I wash so they are finally starting to heal! When there is an open spot, it stings a little but not much and not for long. The fissures and the area around them were becoming rough and bumpy and itched frequently but now they are healing smoothly, no more lumpy, bumpy areas. The itching has subsided, too. It is easy to use. It’s unscented. The trigger top allows me to adjust to a spray or stream depending on what area I am cleaning. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it!Update January 26,2026 Skintegrity Wound Cleanser is now an item we always keep on hand in our first aid kit. I continue to rely on it for my various irritated areas, including dangerous pressure spots, and since I now start using this immediately, on day one of the sore appearing, the area stays clean no matter how much rubbing and chaffing is occurring. I use the Skintegrity Wound Cleanser daily then apply a medicated balm and the area heals over smoothy, no more lumpy, bumpy areas of healed areas! It is so easy to use, just spray then wipe gently or pat dry with soft gauze or cloth. Other family members have used it, too, and also find that their wounds healed faster and resulted in a healed area that’s smoother and less noticeable because using this cleanser cleaned out any debris and ‘yuck’ daily. Clean wounds heal over more smoothly but sometimes just washing the wound with soap and water reopens the wound because you have to wipe/rinse enough to get all of the soap off. This cleanser does not need to be rinsed off so that is not an issue any more. Our family loves Skintegrity and highly recommend it.

I bought this to clean around my son’s j-tube. I really like the spray function. It makes it easier to use. It works really well. I’ve bought it twice so far and plan to keep purchasing in the future.

This worked on a Decubitus so well!
Worked great on a Decubitus ulcer, bed sore, when nothing seemed to help. It was a grade 2 Decubitus ulcer on the skin over the Sacrum just above the coccyx, tailbone. This spray cleans the slough, dead cells, away so the new cells could grow in and heal. I just sprayed it on then rinsed it off with sterile saline, just a little bit then put on a salve then a dressing. Changed the dressing every two days because it helped so much. It works! This product is great stuff.
