They reached out after reading my review and offered a full refund for my inconvenience with the disconnecting issues. They also let me know that they have made updates and new updated version should stay correct these issues! This has gave me so much faith in Momcozy products! I will absolutely be recommending and using them in the future!** This is such a great concept and will be a great product once a few bugs are worked out. My main issue was that the app kept losing connection and having to reconnect every 20 minutes or so. I couldn’t trust that the app would alarm me if his temperature spiked since I looked at the app multiple times and it was disconnected. This wearable thermometer is pretty new and I think once it is around for a while they will air out all the kinks and it will be an incredible product for us moms and dads!

Poor Battery Design Creates Safety Concerns
I purchased this thermometer for infant use and was disappointed by several design choices that are especially important when a product is intended for babies.Battery Type & SafetyThe device uses a coin (quarter-sized) battery, which I only discovered after the battery died shortly after the first use. Coin batteries are widely known to be dangerous if swallowed, and I was surprised to see this type used in a baby product. A USB-rechargeable battery would be a much safer and more practical alternative.Battery LifeThe battery drained almost immediately. For a thermometer that may be needed urgently, this is not reliable or acceptable.Size & HandlingThe unit is roughly the size of an Apple AirTag, making it small enough to raise concerns if it were ever dropped or accessed by a child. Parents should be aware of this when storing or using the product.Overall Experience• Very short battery life• Unsafe battery choice for an infant product• Design does not prioritize long-term usabilityBecause safety and reliability are critical for baby items, I would not recommend this thermometer. Parents looking for infant health products should carefully check battery type and power design before purchasing.

Helpful for short-term use, just keep the battery in mind
As a first-time mom, I got this item hoping it would life a little easier when my son is sick (likely from daycare!) and overall it has. It’s simple to use, easy to “install”, and didn’t feel overwhelming when I’m always already exhausted.For the short time we’ve been using it, it’s done what it’s supposed to do (measure bae’s temp!) and has definitely helped take some pressure off the resistance (I.e., pushing a metal orb across his head = unhappy baby). In the instructions there is a QR code. I really appreciated not having to read a long instruction manual or troubleshoot anything complicated because it’s pretty straight forward/user friendly.The biggest downside is the battery which is on the smaller side, and I did find myself needing to charge it more often than expected. The smallness is a concern because kids eat things and this would be terrible to swallow. However, you can put a tegaderm patch over it to keep it on. That’s what I did and it was fine.I do agree that it does die fast. Once I got into the habit of plugging it in whenever I wasn’t using it, it became much less of an issue. Keeping a charger nearby or charging overnight helped a lot.You do have to download an app that track the thermometer but I’m fine with that. It’s easy to understand and use. Again, fairly user friendly.I’d say this is a good product for short-term use, especially during the newborn stage or for travel. As long as you’re aware of the battery limitations and plan around them, it works well and is worth having. Overall, I’m glad I added it to our setup as a new mom figuring things out, it measures the temperature accurately (so far), and is lightweight.I HIGHLY suggest buying small tegaderm to ensure the sensor stays on and you’re not worried about the battery falling off and baby eating it.
