Love this as an overnight barrier sealer
I layer my bedtime routine and use Hydro Boost as the very last layer. I call it a barrier sealer, lol. It’s worked dry well and actually absorbs in to my skin with all the other layers. I’ve also used it alone and while I can say it stays on and makes my skin soft, I’m not sure if it really does anything “helpful”, to me it just protects!

Moisturizer for for anybody – all skins applicable
Been using this very hydrating, very light, quick to absorb moisturizer for years now. Very delicate for sensitive skin no break outs. My husband and son also like using it. I love that that is now a refillable option to keep from having to repeatedly buying the same heavy duty plastic jar

Finally less plastic waste on my favorite moisturizer!
I love the Hydro Boost gel moisturizers (lightweight but effective, not greasy, doesn’t have a heavy smell) but hate the small quantity and plastic waste. This is a better solution than getting the whole container each time. The product is the same quality as what’s in the hard container. My only complaint is that I couldn’t remove the pod in my container I had on hand, but it was the Hydro Boost version with sunscreen so it probably wasn’t manufactured to use the replacement pod. I used a cotton swab to move the new gel into the container/pod so no issue. One pod or container lasts me about a month.

Great product, great option to refill, only 1 pod, not 2
I have been using Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Face Moisturizer for several years now. I have combination, sensitive skin with an oily T-zone, so I need something moisturizing that doesn’t feel greasy or oily. That’s what led me to this product. I’m a loyal user. I love the water gel consistency, how it absorbs quickly, and the nice, light scent. I love that they now have refills for the heavy jars. It felt wasteful to toss the container each month or so. Now I can recycle the pod and easily replace it with a new one. It just pops right in. I would have given this 5 stars, but, as of yet, I can’t sign up for Subscribe and Save for this product. Also, the original listing described two refill pods, but I only received one. So fair warning, don’t expect two pods. It’s a little pricier than I would expect for a single refill, but I’m partial to the product, so for now, I will continue to purchase it.

Arrived without refill pod (twice) but the moisturizer is great.
Refill Pod-specific review: Pod was missing when I received this item, so I ordered a replacement and IT, TOO, came without the refill pod (so zero stars for that). I love this moisturizer – I give it 4 stars, – and I use it under my face lotion daily; but I always feel wasteful about the heavy plastic container (that & price is reason not 5 stars). I was excited to try this new jar with refill pod but no longer trust the pods to arrive — and I don’t want to deal with the returns so giving up. This 1-star rating is specific to this marketing package, not the moisturizer.
