I am one with a sneer free dental history but every time I go to the dentist I am told I have some plaque buildup and that I should get an electric toothbrush. I was ignorant and continued to use a manual toothbrush for years but finally decided to give an electronic toothbrush a try. I research a ton before buying really any product so I knew everything about this brush before I pulled it out of the box. After 5 days of use I am amazed. I bought this right after my dental appointment and this toothbrush has been able to keep the dentist cleaned teeth feeling like I just left the office. The brush is effortless and leaves your mouth feeling great. The different modes just make this fantastic product that much better. The 2nd biggest plus for me after the clean is the quality of the product. It feels very solid and looks like a very nice product. I expect it to last at least to it’s two year provided warranty. I will definitely be sticking with Sonicare for the rest of my life. Thank you, Sonicare!

Stop manually brushing and buy this!
Great toothbrush. I don’t have a side by side comparison of other electric toothbrushes, but compared to manual brushing, this brush is 100% better. I’m an ex-dental hygienist. I switched careers about 10 years ago and lost access to free teeth bleaching and cheap toothbrushes. I was trained in brushing techniques so I assumed I could manually brush just as good as any electric brush. Nope. After having some kids and upping my coffee intake, I noticed my teeth stained quickly after a professional cleaning and I had more tartar buildup between cleanings. I brush twice daily and floss religiously. I decided to go back to the sonicare. In just 2 months, my coffee stain is gone and it’s actually removed tartar over time, which I didn’t think possible. I definitely recommend this brush.

I finally broke down and bought this toothbrush after reading all the positive reviews and urging from my dentist. Simply put, I’m an electric toothbrush convert and am extremely pleased with the results. It took some getting used to, particularly the ticklish feeling the first couple of times used it, but after a week’s use, my teeth feel cleaner and look whiter than before. It also took some practice getting used to brushing without spraying toothpaste all over the sink and bathroom mirror, but once you overcome those obstacles, it’s smooth sailing.The unit looks good, feels stable in the hand, and cleans up easily. Replacement heads aren’t cheap, but why would you want a cheap brush that doesn’t clean well? The charge holds a long time (one week so far) and I leave it charging overnight to ensure a full charge. I haven’t used the traveling case yet, but I like the idea of keeping my toothbrush separated from the other toiletries in my dopp kit when I travel.I would highly recommend this product to anyone considering an electric toothbrush.

Worth the money.
Okay, so I was a bit hesitant at first to get this. I had a regular sonic toothbrush from the grocery store that seemed to do the job. But after using this for a while, I can already feel a difference in the cleanliness of my teeth. My gums are doing better and when I floss there’s less plaque. Also, the timer really helps me get a full brush. I also didn’t realize how hard I was pressing before, and the fact that it stops when you press too hard has helped me adjust my brushing to be more gentle!Now all my past memories of brushing my teeth with regular brushes/sonic toothbrushes just feel gross. I might as well have brushed them with a clump of steel wool.

Not Worth Spending so Much for Something of so Low Quality
Worked well initially, but stopped functioning properly within 7 months. The brush head started moving harshly and making loud, abrasive noises—too uncomfortable to use. Eventually had to discard it. Didn’t expect this from such an expensive brush and such a reputed brand. Very disappointed.

This is the first electric toothbrush I have had, and I would definitely recommend it. I’ve had it for several months now, and it still works as well as the first day I used it. I especially like that it comes with a traveling case.A month before my boyfriend had purchased Philips electric toothbrush (different model) on a whim, and I was thinking about getting one as well. I read up on all the reviews for different competitor brands/models, and this one was well recommended. Plus, we can share replacement toothbrush heads since we both have Philips.I like that there are 3 settings to choose from – each a little longer for their purpose (clean, white, gum care). I also like that it does a slight vibrate to signal when to switch brushing sections. My boyfriend didn’t realize that feature… guess that’s what happens when you don’t read the instructions haha!
