Use it as a daily toner!
I love Puracyn! I use it as a toner. This gem of a trick was taught by a laser educator who uses it for cleansing during skin (aesthetic) laser treatments on her patients. She said its great with killing any bacteria on the skin which can lead to acne and it’s gentle. I’ve been using it for years – it doesn’t dry my skin out and keeps my skin clean. My husband even uses it for all his scrapes and cuts!

TOO Expensive. Use an Alternative instead.
This is a nice product but it is TOO expensive. Unless you are using it internally, I would suggest just using Distilled water mixed with the FDA suggested amount of liquid household Bleach (Clorox) to render it safe for use and handling. After spending hundreds of dollars on this product in the past, and getting the same results from the proper mixture of sodium hypochlorite (6 percent unscented/unfragranced/unaltered liquid household bleach such as Clorox) and distilled water. I can’t give you a formula without placing myself in danger of a legal dispute, but your solution needs to result in a 0.5 percent w/v solution that is called Darkin’s solution, that is used as an antiseptic to clean infected topical wounds. Research it for yourself first before you attempt to make it. Don’t just try diluting it unless you understand what you are doing and are fluent on the understanding of ratios. If your household liquid bleach was 5 percent, you would want to dilute it with water 1:10. That actually means using 1 part of bleach to 9 parts of water, to get a 0.5 percent solution. With 6 percent liquid household bleach you would need to actually add a little more water. There are plenty of Government websites like The National Library of Medicine and the FDA that will have articles about it, but don’t make it if you don’t have the proper (eyedropper / graduated cylinder) equipment and safety (nitrile gloves / eye goggles) clothing to make it.

can’t say enough good about this product. I first heard about it on “Bulls and Bears” when Tobin Smith mentioned it. Researched it and ordered some to use it as an occasional mouth rinse to keep periodontal disease in check. I contacted poison Ivy with the underside of my right forearm and had tried to treat it with Ivy Dry and Calamine Lotion with little help. One night before bed I sprayed the area with Puracyn and when I woke the next morning the area was clear. I have a 5 acre yard and get a lot of scratches and nicks from the clean up process and spray them with Puracyn. If I get a tick bite I spray it with Puracyn and the redness goes away quickly. Without Puracyn they normally take a month or more to clear up.The most remarkable result I have seen was while working on my friends tractor, I peeled a 1/2 by 3/4 inch piece of skin of of the heel of my right hand (down to the muscle) on the sharp edge of a piece of metal. It was held on by a 1/4 inch flap and I cleaned it with soap and warm water. Then sprayed it well with Puracyn, carefully put it back in place and covered it with a compression bandage soaked with Puracyn. A week and a half later it was re-attached and was pink and normal with just a slight scar around the edges.This is pretty remarkable stuff.
