I bought the 500DL Fingertip Pulse Oximeter forMy 91 year old mom and it works beautifully and is accurate. It has a silicone cover over it which makes handling it even easier. She loves the purple color too!

This is a very nice oximeter. It is very quick to respond. It seems to be very accurate when compared with my blood pressure machine pulse. Every one needs one of these.

Doesn’t always register a reading
I have long thin fingers and this device will sometimes not register an oxygen reading or pulse. Presumably my fingers are too cold even when I’ve tried to warm them. The device is easy to use and read when it functions.

GREAT PURCHASE!
This pulse ox is overall accurate, functions great and is easy to read, even at night. I’ve found no errors for the most part, and honestly It’s a very similar feel to the one they have at my primary cares office (not the ones you see in er, but rather some doctors offices) to me it’s definitely worth getting if you anxiety like me, or have a health needs where you need to check your o2 levels or pulse rate. I have two of these oximeters one in purple and one in pink!

I bought this for my 91 year old mother and she was so excited to get one that cost half as much as the one she bought from a chain pharmacy and worked just as well. Just popped the batteries in and she was good to go.

I’m very glad to have this around. It’s really useful for when you’re sick – you can easily check your oxygen levels and know whether you need to head to the doctor over them or not. An unexpected plus, too, is that I’ve found it helpful for when I’m having major anxiety of any kind – I find being able to pop it on and see that my heart rhythm and oxygen are normal, and that actually helps me calm down a little more, like I’m not so bad off. Anyway, I think it’s just a very useful addition to a person’s first aid and personal care toolbox.
